But it is only a mere $299 if you buy it refurbished....
$345 if you buy it refurbished with an extended warranty!

Wait, wha?

I today received one of the $219 n800 and it looks like a refurb, and I am not sure. The online wireless servers list of this n800 had an wireless source populated already which disappeared after it got my server listed.
The real problem with this n800 concerns a label of a barcode that I can't get from the screen of the n800 with my fingernail. If I am going to save this n800, I may have try to apply some kind of solution to the screen to remove the adhesive from the n800's screen. Can you suggest something to take off the labe's adhesive? Otherwise I will have to return it to tigerdirect.com.

- if you received a refurb, but paid for NIB, return the unit and demand s/h charges back (you can always dispute with your cc company if the sale was misleading)...

- interestingly, this search:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...=0&image12.y=0

at tiger direct shows a listing indicating REFURB'd n800s for $299, while (apparently) NIB for $229! (and clicking on the link for the cheaper one gives NO indication of the product being refurbished)
