This makes me think that they just want to wait until all outside-EU preorders are processed before shipping them out as one big bunch. That would explain why norweigan and swiss orders in low numbers (below 500) have skipped shipping, while still being "in picking" all this time.

It looks like that... I hope now that numbers >500 are being "picked", delivery to Norway & Switzerland starts fast. Next question will be the taxes/customs.
As already mentioned by someone else here - when I log into store now, I can order a device for Euro 321.70, which is about 20% cheaper (I guess Euro 399 without the taxes). So I wonder how this will work out for us pre-orderers since we probably pay taxes twice when the parcel enters a non EU-country. But yeah, one after another
