i'm a little tired about jolla. we don't know anything about their devices. when will they release their smartphones? no screenshots? all their statements are "we"ll change your life" bla bla.
we want a real product now. it looks like duke nukem.. ah ah

Guys, relax. I think it was a good thing they came out and said that they're going to release a phone. If they had have said nothing, a lot of us on here (and around the world) would have ened up looking for a phone elsewhere (nokia, apple, android etc)

At least we know something is coming. Just be patient

I agree, I'm glad to know that some people are still developping something interesting, so let's wait the end of 2012! anyway, if my n900 brakes, I won't buy anything more expensive than 20€ before something like jolla is released...

By cons, why isn't there any official website? jolla.nu is offlne, neither jollamobile.com.

Yep, 13 000, say, everyone of that 13 thousand buys a Jolla phone. And they said they need to sell how many to survive? 200 000?

IIRC, they said their target of the initial device is 100,000...

Be it 100.000 it's still quite a lot for a company that only maemo fans know about and I don't believe that every single maemo/meego user will buy Jolla phone.

Well we don't know their plans and products exactly so can't speculate...

What we can surmise from their behaviour is that China will be a major part of their focus and if they manage to get their phones into every store of the China Dealership they announced a deal with then that target looks quite achievable when coupled with the goodwill the Company looks to have already generated [its like a Phoenix rising from the ashes]...

Remember twitter followers do not include those from China

Lastly, I do remember some devs around saying their app got nearly 50% of their downloads in Nokia Store from China...

Actually to my surprise Jolla has been in the news in my country. Only in online media but still, not only engadget and other tech sites know about it.
