Lo and behold, a new TMO Cameraphonecomp™ is here!

This time mosen decides on the theme.

But as a contrast to last month, i will nevertheless give you the opportunity to prepare your shots a bit more.
And you might need to, because having a perfect reflection that furthermore is leading the image might profit from a little planning.

Also the spectrum is rather broad.
Take a sunflare, expressing the daytime and leading the pictures mood.

Influence the context of your image, maybe the reflexion gives a hint to where the picture has been taken?

Be it you are not done with bird hunt, check your local lake and hunt for that heron mirroring in the water.
Or maybe go out and check for nice compositions of your cities landmarks reflecting in store windows.

The topic for april is, "reflections".
I would be very happy to see many contestants, nice photos and approaches.
Have fun everybody and humble thanks again for your votes.
And since the description is the longest in the history of TMO Cameraphonecomp™, I think it's clear on what the theme is this month. Good luck everyone!

The rules are:
Photos must be taken during this montH
Photos must be taken by the posting member
Photos must be taken with a camera phone
Users post only one photo per entry
Users can change the entry only once
Users must name the phone they used
(so I could include it for voting)
Last three days of this month are for voting

Quick question, do the pics have to be as the camera took them? Or are you allowed to do any editing, say enhance the contrast for example? Thx,

J

This is being asked almost every time and has been answered a number of times. As the very first competition stated in its rules, "Post processing allowed (don't do too much!)".

Ápropos aditional lenses were allowed too!

Yes it's allowed, but the "unwritten rule" is not much colour light or filter adjustment but only crop. We want to keep original features as a "mobile" camera.

Hi All!

I just wanted to share this photo of mine (n900 panorama app) - sadly it is way too old to be my entry for this month but I will try to participate in this contest.

Ok, here's my first participation in the competitiion. It was a strange situation where the sun is setting behind me and the shadows from the mountains next to show across the lake while the sun lit mountain on the other side reflects on the lake. Taken with my N9.

Beautiful! I had to zoom in on your photo to see the reflection properly but it was worth it!

Thanks, I took the picture as soon as I saw the lake so it was still a bit far away. But later when I was closer it wasn't the same anymore as the sun was setting fast. I had been hiking for 9 hours and was going to camp on the shore.
