Thought I should start a new thread to prevent post overload in the main CSSU thread.

Still having trouble updating CSSU - My N900 reports I am on v15 but have all the apps from v16.8 inc rotating calculator, blacklists, etc.
I cannot update the mp-fremantle-community-pr package due to unmet dependency on gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-extra.

I cannot install gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-extra due to unmet dependency on libwildmidi0.

I cannot install libwildmidi0 as they is no suitable candidate.

I just seem to going round and round trying to fix this but getting nowhere fast! Any help gratefully received.

N900, PR1.3 + CSSU + PowerKernel 48 + updated Busybox, overclocked to 1000Mhz.

No, that's how I updated the rest of the packages via apt-get update and apt-get upgrade.

30+ packages were upgraded hence the calculator etc, but the community-pr packages refuses to update due to the above errors.

The are 13 packages not upgraded, apart from community-pr, the rest are all libqtm- packages. Driving me nuts!

Why don't you try to update your repo list via an apt-get update, then try to apt-get upgrade again?

Done it twenty times or more. Tried HAM, FAM and x-term.
Currently trying to resolve individual dependencies hence the post...

Even tried disabling extra, devel and testing just in case there were conflicts. My only repos active now are fremantle-ssu-apps and fremantle-ssu-mr0

Just to point, AFAIK gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-extra is included in the package extra decoders support.

I tried removing it to see which packages it would also try to remove but it says it is not installed at present, so it is not a problem with that package per se, rather the libwildmidi0 which it can't seem to find.

I got exact same symptoms of problems, when I once (by mistake) deleted Nokia repos from list.

Could You please check, if You've both Nokia Apps (https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/apps/

...and freemantle ssu mr0 (https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/mr0/)

...enabled in repos? Best way is to add them to FAM. This two infamous nokia repos + all extras should do the trick.

and save it in N900 memory not into any folders
and go to xterm
sudo gainroot
dpkg -i MyDocs/gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-extra and all names packgages .deb

and maybe your problem from preenv package
