Hi.

Here's an example of what I meant with 'move-before/move-after'. You can use the connection manager binary: connmanctl.
Note that connections 3rd and 4th have had their prevalences changed.

Code:
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ connmanctl services
*AR Jolla vpn_fqdn_dn_net_merproject_org
*AO Movistar cellular_21407XXXXXYYYYY_context1
*   Wired                ethernet_000000000000_cable
*A Jalisco_ wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4a616c6973636f5f_managed_psk
*A MOVISTAR_5FB3 wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4d4f5649535441525f35464233_managed_psk
*A MOVISTAR_698D wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4d4f5649535441525f36393844_managed_psk

[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ connmanctl move-before wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4a616c6973636f5f_managed_psk ethernet_d64276b528d9_cable

Moved wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4a616c6973636f5f_managed_psk before ethernet_d64276b528d9_cable

[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ connmanctl services
*AR Jolla vpn_fqdn_dn__net_merproject_org
*AO Movistar cellular_21407iXXXXXYYYYY_context1
*A Jalisco_ wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4a616c6973636f5f_managed_psk
*   Wired                ethernet_000000000000_cable
*A MOVISTAR_5FB3 wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4d4f5649535441525f35464233_managed_psk
*A MOVISTAR_698D wifi_XXYYZZa0babd_4d4f5649535441525f36393844_managed_psk
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$
Keep in mind that the lines are not wrapped really You may want to test more by issuing the command:

Code:
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ connmanctl help
Regards.

wtf?

I am sure I read juiceme saying something about
"as an exercise how to enable tethering from command line"
but I cannot find it with the 'normal search here on TMO...

And since when is this:
Code:
,---
| Sailfish OS 2.2.0.29 (Mouhijoki)
'---
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ ping 1.1.1.1
PING 1.1.1.1 (1.1.1.1): 56 data bytes
ping: permission denied (are you root?)
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ devel-su ping 1.1.1.1
Password:
PING 1.1.1.1 (1.1.1.1): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 1.1.1.1: seq=0 ttl=59 time=19.804 ms

See page #4 of this same thread

What happened is Jolla changed the iputils ping to the busybox internal implementation which requires net_raw permissions to use.
just add nemo to group and Bob's your uncle.

Yep, thanks.

Above post has two topics (should have better divided).
I remember you saying about tethering does not work amymore without having GPRS data but it should be possible to acivate any way from command line. (as an exercise)
But I cannot find via TMO search with such key words.
Probably in this very thread, too?

Nope, not this one.
And I am pretty sure it was TMO (but could have been TJC, right ).
Thanks.

Another question regarding this update:
Code:
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$ version --verify
+ ngfd-plugin-droid-vibrator-1.0-1.3.12.armv7hl
- package ngfd-plugin-droid-vibrator is not installed
+ qt5-feedback-haptics-droid-vibrator-0.1.0-1.3.8.armv7hl
- package qt5-feedback-haptics-droid-vibrator is not installed

One ore more packages are not at the expected version for Sailfish OS 2.2.0.29 (Mouhijoki)
(+ = expected version, - = installed version)
[nemo@Sailfish ~]$
The update did not go 100%. I powered off device and did a version --dup afterwards ( it started after update but somehow connectivity did not work, only on the second boot).

But also after --dup these two packages did not install on Jolla C.
So what are they for?

--edit
and another prove that the internal search is not as good as everybody says. Try to find the latest update thread only knowing the last part of name 'joki' (sounds similar to our Bundes-Jogi ), screenie 1.
You need to know the full name (which is quite opposite to a search functionality), screenie 2.

If you know it ends with joki you can use a wildcard and search for *joki. Three results, one of them this thread

*joki and mouh* gives the same 3 results as without the extra, so unless someone knew the future 2.2 release name in the 2.0.2 thread I'm guessing not. Wildcards are better than nothing at least!
