There are a lot more people using iPhones and iPod Touches. There are more people coming up with ideas, and more people to enjoy the ideas that are developed (which is more rewarding for developers).

What "maemo team" do you speak of? Since when was there a "maemo" team?

I think he meant the Maemo development team at Nokia, or more generally the IT product team.

There's one thing that constantly bugs me between going between the iPhone and n800...I can mash my thumb onto the screen of the iPhone and it can do a pretty good job of figuring out what I'm trying to click on...can't say the same for the n800.

One would hope that the iPhone would do a better job since that is an important feature of a PHONE with no physical keyboard.
Not to mention that both devices employ different technologies.
Why the phuck are we comparing apples to oranges again?
Does this mean I can compare my car to an iPhone now?
If so, the iPhone sucks for it's lack of horsepower, satellite radio, and lack of air conditioning, heater, and sunroof.
