This widget ( http://maemo.org/packages/view/touchsearch/ ) lets you customize the search query and supports multiple search engines like google, wiki, amazon, imdb etc.

The .desktop file just refers to the libgooglesearchwidget.so - so does this mean that the url is hardcoded maybe?
