As our beloved gadget nears it's release, we are sure to start seeing accessories debut from various companies. I think that we should start a thread detailing accessories as we find them, linking to reviews etc.

I am very interested to see what companies make screen protectors/cases and who recommends which and why.

This would be for N900 specific accessories, so if you wish to name an accessory that is, for example, bluetooth, please wait and figure out how well it works with the N900 and whether you suggest it be used with the N900.

Example:

Accessory Type: Screen Protector

Manufacturer: Martin Fields
Link:

Price:
Review: (link or personal)

I guess if everyone else thinks this is a dumb idea it'll fade by the wayside, I just thought it would be a useful way to continue drooling over the N900 and informative.

Edit: I guess for the time being we could just list what accessories we intend to use when we have it.

Leather vertical pouch with neoprene soft lining and closure.

It's made for the G1 but will fit the N900 and it's only $9.84 with shipping.

that's what I like to see...

any reason to prefer a vertical pouch over horizontal (landscape) especially on a belt?

I was just looking as some size comparisons and I was pleased to see that the N900 was so similar to other phones like the g1 for accessory's sake. Also pleasantly surprised that its thinner than N95.

I really hope that ZAGG's InvisibleShield comes out soon enough for the N900. I use it for my N810 and Palm Centro, and it works fine because its so durable and reusable I think its ideal for screen protection IMHO.

Vertical just works better for sitting down, looks better to me, plus if I just want to carry the phone in my hand it doesn't look ******ed carrying a horizontal pouch imo. All my outerwear have internal pockets and enough room vertically for a vertical pouch so it's perfect, just slide my hand in and slide the phone out without taking out the pouch.

I really like these, and think they'll work as long as the bluetooth version is the same?

I'd like to get a portable powerpack with Microusb to connect to the N900 and run on replaceable batteries.

I'd also like to get an extra battery or two from amazon.
$26.95

and maybe something like this if made for N900:

I haven't decided on what case I want yet.

Nor screen protector, though glare reduction is very important to me and I've heard that the Zagg protectors aren't too great in sunlight?

Any recommendations?

Theirs a Nokia made dual mini usb and standard Nokia tip, lith-ion battery backup power source module on J&R I just ordered from JR and arrived yesterday. http://www.jr.com/nokia/pe/NOK_DC11/

I'm going to use this whenever I'm switching battery's or just need a power charge when I don't have access to a charger.
