I went ahead and upgraded to 21.2011.38-1.002.
Here are the problems that I can't solve, and need help on:
1)Application Catalogs that failed to refresh for:

a) Nokia Applications - failed to refresh

b) Nokia System Software Updates - failed to refresh
hppts://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/002/./Packages
c) Ovi - failed to refresh
hppts://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle1.2/ovi/./Packages

2) I attempted to install "KMPlayer" and got the message:
Unable to install "KMPlayer" Some application packages required for the installation are missing. (The application shows maemo.org in the error summary.)
The same missing messgage is also for worldtv99,
Midnight Commander (the application is missing file libncursesw5.)

3) My google mail notification through Nokia's message notification (or something through Nokia's service) is no longer work. I need a gmail notification somehow.

4) My MP3 music under Media player lists the same song twice for every Albums. The file manager lists only one physical MP3 file under the Nokia N900/Audio Clips folder.

Everything else seems to work Okay including GPS, Maps,and camera.

I appliciate for your help to solve the 4 main problems above.

everything works fine with me... I had no problems upgrading it.
I even flashed my phone and re-upgrade again and still no problem.

This is NOT a Nokia service line. This is a publicly run volunteer forum.

When you attempted the upgrade, what program did you use? And what happned during the upgrade? Was this a flash upgrade, or OTA?

Problem 1 is probably because you lack space on your root file system. Look at the wiki for how to fix that. Problem 2 is a result of problem 1. Problem 3 I can't help with, not using Nokia for google (why would you, when you can directly access it on the n900). Problem 4 is a trakerd problem, for which you probably need to flush/restart your tracker for (after fixing problem 1).

Problem #4 Will it work if i want to recreate the list using this command to solve the duplication issues:
tracker-processes -r
Problem #1 is no longer a problems. Somehow, today all catalogs are clean.
Problem #2 is still exist. I did attempted to install Kmplayer, and got the same error again, even though all catalogs are refreshed (clean).
Problem #3 I found a get around by using Nokia Messaging mail to get the Gmail notification.

Could you help me on the problem #4 which is my main problem.
