Tried software in car earlier. N900 found my OBD2 BT dongle and while engine running showed me correct values
Internal GPS not working as Carman doesn't find it (or something).
Carman + navit will be a great combination after both work and are stable.

Try go to status screen to connect internet by press button & press GPS button after inetrenet connecting.

I edited /home/user/.carman/carmand.conf
gps_device=internal

rebooted, and now it works!

1. enable Extras-devel repositories
2. run Terminal window
3. take root rights
sudo gainroot
4. update lists
apt-get update
4. install Carman
apt-get install carman

and say Yes on next question about install another pacakges

How hard is it to see something like short term or long term injector trims, O2 voltages, etc?

Can you easily see all the OBD data from the car?

~ $ sudo gainroot
Enable RD mode if you want to break your device

this is the respons i get how do i enabel RD mode ?

You don't want to enable R&D mode.

Please install rootsh instead.

Install Rootsh from the Extras repository to enable root access
