Anyone knows where to get educational games for N810, similiar to the competitor (mac Itouch) of the following :

I know this is a very newbie question : how do the owner of the freeware get paid with so many software to be download ? esp the games ?

He is paid when he reads that you liked his software. and when you sned him a mail proposing new features and thanking him ...

And when you send him cash, too, if you feel like it. While many F/OSS authors do not encourage or seek cash donations, very few would be offended by it.

So it is merely out of hobby, interest ?
I saw alot of apps/games for itouch/iphone purchased through itunes cost about 99cents, probably to pay just the itune stall.

Yep. Nokia's funding the maemo.org servers, so there are no costs for listing an app, and most of the devs are in it for reasons that can be approximated as "making the world a better place, one line of code at a time."

Benson,
Now that make sense with Nokia's funding.
With the new SDK from iphone/touch, probably more games/apps from them is coming up. Some might just use it as business idea to earn some cash.
