The photo with the device in-hand looked at first like an old PCMCIA WiFi card! Impressed by the extreme pocketability of the thing, but my eyes six years on could never use anything but the dialpad for calls

Still, if anyone wanted to do a community port of SFOS -- if it were even possible -- I wouldn't stand in their way!

I like the phone. Especially the size. That would be my dream device. But OMG, two grand!

Funny, a link to N950 for £350 popped up in the recommended list following your link.
It is sold as broken due to a black spot but we have seen N950s with black spots being on offer for 4x as much.

Wow. This with S40 and a reasonable price...

I was thinking about using a 8210 but phone memory is just too small and does not provide enough amount and details of phonebook. Else I would go with one of those still working devices in my drawer

Shame it wasn't released, maybe in 2014 I would have bought it instead of Nokia X Dual SIM

I guess there isn't any firmware copy floating somewhere in the Internet?
