Well, I assumed that as XA2 has newer kernel it would support the old AD version. Similarly, the JollaC AD worked on Xperia X. But maybe you are indeed right and things are different here.

Alien Dalvik relies on Kernel Version and Android HAL Version.
Xperia X has Android 6.0.1 HAL and Kernel 3.18, where Xperia XA2 has HAL Android 8.1 and Kenrel 4.4

Has anyone already succeeded in using jollaC or XperiaX AD on XA2?
Edit: This is just for testing purposes, as soon as the official sale of XA2 licenses start, I will be the first to buy it :-).
