i have long resolved that problem and no i didn't get error msgs, it just

didn't work back then.

My problem now is i get a blurry focus so my camera is useless for now.

i can't take any pic.

i have tried cleaning the lens and also hitting it(Camera lens) hard as

suggested in the camera blurry/focus-issue thread, didnt work.

Only thing that worked for me after searching through a bunch of threads and various attempts to fix the problem. All started with powerkernel after hdr cam app was installed. Removed powerkernel, all 3rd pty cam apps/drivers, reboot/battery remove/replace and bada bing bada boom.

Thanks again!

AFAIK, fcamera requires fcam-drivers to work. It is a dependency anyhow. Old posting, I know but fcam-drivers came up in another issue re blessn900.

There have been a few people with fcam-driver issues for a while.
This is due to fcamera being in extras but it's latest fcam-drivers are in extras-devel.

In order to fix this we need to find out if fcam-drivers (version 1.0.7-2) is compatible with the stock kernel.
If so it can be promoted to testing and QA testing will eventually promote it to extras and solve this annoying issue.

So does anybody have fcamera and fcam-drivers 1.0.7-2 working on a stock kernel?

Does anybody know of a reason why fcam-drivers was left in extras-devel?

I don't use fcamera or the stock kernel so I can't test this.

I'm running fcamera on the stock kernel. How do I check the drivers version, & what test would you like done?

Great, I guess you have no trouble with fcam?

screenshot of *dpkg -l fcam-drivers"
screenshot of "uname -a"

Waiting for this too. I can't get my fcam to work.

Not sure what kernel version I'm using. (well, I installed it using the app manager this weekend so I'm assuming it's up to date?)
