I dont currently have a net connection on my N900 so i downloaded the .install files from the download section and transfered them via usb to the N900 memory. I am then trying to open the installers using the file manager but it still keeps asking me to connect to the interent.

From what I can see there is no way to install apps without a net connection on your N900 but i thought i'd ask to see if anyone had figured it out.

The install file is basically just a link to a repository where you can download the app from.

It is possible to download the .deb file from the repository using your pc, transfering it to your device and using xterm to install it but this isn't recommended
