Last weekend someone a burning sigaret fel on the display of my N900 and burnt into the touchscreen. All kinds of spraks came from the device and then I noticed.

Is there any way to repair or replace the touchscreen? And if so, how much would such a thing cost?

i would say it will. BUT. there might be a few issues. the screen maynot be as clear. it might not fit 100% ive had third party screens in the past for my n95 8gig. went through like 3 screens. and all were a bit duller than the original. and dust protection wasnt as good. id say pay the extra.
