Even stranger is that "/e/", which i had heard of briefly but written off completely, is higher up the results. Not sure if I trust the poll or not!

Not sure I trust Sailfish. First thing is the Russian take-over and seconly its the lack of information regading refund.

I will rather go with android for now. Atleast it has some good usecases.

But I do hope some other cool OS will pop-up to this device.

Well yeah that is a thing. But I still trust them more than android or google derived os. But lets not forget nemo is close to maemo 6 and has started more development recently.

Nemo really dropped the ball since they could of had a complete working open os by now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-K-J-9eXxY0

However interested I am in Nemo, I'm sorry, but I can't see anything else than the N950 in this video. Maybe this is because my eyes are wet at the sight of it. I can't believe they designed a working, modern HWKB to the point that units were actually manufcatured and working, without making it a commercial product. The most difficult was done.

Damn it, this device was the ultimate achievement of mankind, together with Voyager and similar probes. Except for the lack of resistive + stylus, but Voyager is not perfect either.

In addition to what juiceme wrote, you should know that Android was at one point completely free for anyone to use on their devices. It was horrible and barely functional, but this quickly made manufacturers decide to focus on the hardware and let most of the software be handled by others. If it had a touchscreen and could make phone calls, they could pass it off as one of those new and cool smartphones. Not too long after, the amount of devices running Android had reached a critical mass, and Google has ever since done everything in its power to make it virtually impossible for any manufacturer to even consider moving away from Android. (Read here for more information.)

None of this means that Android is any good. It does what people have been conditioned to expect it to do.

Some more pornography for you guys

Do you think Chen will release at MWC? He said we will see more very shortly
Last time he said shortly it took 3 weeks, if everything is relative. Wait is painful when we're this close
