Packages are not all installing for me; some I click "install" and the progress bar shows "Fetching repository info" and then finishes. Any ideas?

There will be 3 type of updates, alpha/beta/stable. default will be stable, but you can switch to any.
Alpha version get updated each time I build app for device and assemble deb file.

What application you are trying to install? does it shows version number and download size above the install button?

Version 0.0.8 released.
  • Settings page.
  • Minor ui updates.
  • App comments page.

If any application installed from openrepos via warehouse gets an update, you will be notified about it via sustem ui, and can update application directly without launching warehouse.

Time to make installed apps & available updates lists and add some socialization for posting comments & rating apps.

Just curious: how long do you think it will take for Warehouse to get promoted from alpha to beta (and later, stable) quality?

alpha = every build
beta = when new functionality doesnt have obvious bugs
stable = some of beta versions where are no error
Usually stable is every even version

My usual workflow:
0.1 Alpha: adding new functionality
0.1 Beta: releasing to wide public
0.2 Alpha: continue dev of extra functionality, fixing error from bug reports
0.2 Beta: releasing version with fixes
0.2 Stable: worth using everyday

In fact, Beta is always usable, and Alpha can break some functionality.
Stable is just tested Beta

dont report alpha bugs.
and there is no loop. it takes significant amount of time to load app list.

Is Warehouse supposed to recognise manually added repositories?

Mine is asking me to enable repo even if I have already done that manually before installing Warehouse.

Only if you followed openrepos naming guide for adding repos, i.e.
naming "sources.list.d/openrepos-DeveloperName.list" with one repo per file.
Otherwise, it does not supposed to.
