can i run whatsapp in NITDroid and yappari in maemo ?
i try .

If you want to use WhatsApp on NITDroid and Yappari at the same time:
1.- Install NITDroid and Official Android Whatsapp client in it.
2.- Register your N900 phone number with Whatsapp. Complete the registration up to the end.
3.- Go back to Maemo
4.- Install Yappari if you haven't installed it already.
5.- Type exactly this in terminal (AS USER NOT AS ROOT)
Code:
mkdir -p /home/user/.config/scorpius
echo android=true >/home/user/.config/scorpius/yappari.conf
6.- Start Yappari, type your N900 phone number with country code
7.- Yappari should detect the number was already registered using an Android client and log in without any problem.

The expiration data is stored on the Whatsapp servers. Changing it on your phone won't ever work.
You can however get whatsapp on an Iphone. This way you will be able to extend the date with a few years because you have to pay for Whatsapp in the Iphone Store. Otherwise just pay Whatsapp it's possible with a method Scorpius found.

And for the guy who is gonna say eventually that the link doesn't work because he only changed the phone number: you also have to calculate your MD5.
Yappari will eventually have a link to the payment website when the profile page is implemented. And remember: YOU HAVE TO PAY, if your account expires YOU HAVE TO PAY (that's for the people that ask me every day how to continue using WhatsApp without paying: YOU HAVE TO PAY)

How many times does Yappari update the yappari.conf? Might take a while after you have paid?
