I have packaged up BurgerSpace for the N900. The package runs fine and is /optified so it won't take up much space on your root file system. The package is in extras-testing, where it's probably going to stay for awhile...

Package info:
http://maemo.org/packages/view/burgerspace/

There are a few issues which need to be fixed in the current version, which you can see here:
http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...pace/1.8.3-10/

Hit "space" to begin, up/down/left/right to move (if ya got 'em!), and ctrl to throw pepper.

Have fun,

-Jeff

Woohoo i rocked this game (well, BurgerTime) on the Intellivision.

I'll give it a test drive when my N900 comes in.

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

Ok,

A very nice full screen version of this game has been done. It is in the extras-testing repository for you to play with.

The upstream developer was most helpful as well.

Have fun,

If the game works well for you, and it should, please give it karma here:

Thanks!

1.8.3-18 adds ability to use HUKM keymap or arrows, by popular demand.

Pausing in background is coming up, but post holidays.

Problem: After I upgraded to 1.8.3-17 I only get a black screen (which is slightly tricky to get out of so that I can exit it). I just upgraded to 1.8.3-18 and it's still the same. It worked OK before that upgrade to 1.8.3-17.

Make sure you have the latest libflatzebra:
libflatzebra-0.1-2-0.1.3-3

(Yes, weird version numbering inherited from upstream)

Also, to exit a program (not just burgerspace), hit Ctrl-backspace and it will show you all running applications. Very handy shortcut.

Thanks,

-Jeff

Nicely done port: One to emulate. Challenging and easy to get into for a quick session. DoublePlusGood.
