Howdy, I'd really like an image slideshow program that does 2 additional things:
  1. 1. Sub Folders
  2. 2. Animated Gifs

Animated Gifs only play in the browser as far as I'm aware so they're going to be a huge hassle. Slide-showing sub-folders seems like it would be easier if we could find a CLI method of beginning a slideshow or just opening picture viewer in the fuller-screen mode. (unlike these commands)

Anybody know anything about accomplishing either of these things? I'm still a nub with linux, all I've accomplished so far is coming close to finding the length of an animated gif in seconds.

I didn't put in gif support or subfolders. Give me a week or 2 until my new phone comes and I will add them.

Great, let me know if I can help.

My experience with both linux and programming is limited but I'll take a shot at whatever needs to be done.
