Hi all, I'm new to the forums and love my N810, but I've been having some issues using my phone as a modem.

Previously I had a Samsung m610 with Sprint and after talking with retentions was able to use a $15 data plan to simulate PAM for my tablet.

Now I have a Samsun m520 with a Sprint SERO plan and have been unable to use it as a modem. I spoke with retentions and they've been unable to replicate what I had with my previous plan, so...

I'm hoping someone else has had success using their phone as a modem without purchasing the specific plan from Sprint. I've done numerous searches here and on sprintusers and have not been able to locate a program that can figure out my MSL or configure my phone.

Any help would be much appreciated.

(On a side note I have 30 days to decide whether I want to keep my SERO plan. Sprint said it would be willing to reactivate my old account with all its setup, including PAM for $15, if I want to)

keep the SERO plan as it includes unlimited Vision/Power Vision and works well with tablet. I have the SERO plan and have no problem - using Samsung m500.

And with the 520 you can disable NAI. Do you know you MSL? You will need it
google: samsung disable nai

Again why are there phone/bt/modem questions on multi forums - This site needs a phone as a modem forum. Reggie are you listening?

I used the MSL to access the program menu, but unfortunately I am missing the all important NAI On/Off toggle. Is this something new?

Lol, yeah, I guess Sprint was catching on. Now it's either find software to do it or give into the man. =/

You do know that SERO includes unlimited data (and text messaging among other perks) and that the nai fix is (most likely) totally unnecessary.

You should be able to just (with SERO) pair phone with N810 and be good to go.

Naw, error #67 says that I have the incorrect username/password. (Which I don't). I don't know why companies are so afraid of their phones being used as modems. I'm perfectly willing to be charged by the amount of data I use, I just hate using the web on every phone Sprint has available.
