Hello, I am fairly familiar with creating 'desktop' entries of this nature:-
Code:
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Version=0.1
Type=Application
Terminal=false
Name=Cell on
Exec=my_command
Icon+my_icon
and placing them in:-
Code:
/usr/share/applications/hildon
If have no problems getting this kind of thing to work on my N900's.
The issue I have is that whenever I 'click' on 'my_icon' the stsm always brings up a black 'terminal' when 'my_command' is executed.
The terminal is only there for a second or so. I find it a little annoying.
Is there anyone out there that knows a way to stop this, or even another way altogether of running commands 'under the cover' by
tapping an icon?
Regards
Richard.
