Days ago I bought a phone from Ebay and everything is perfect and it works great except for the screen that has two white spots. I think it is repaired, even though the seller said it was new. also says MADE IN FINLAND. you can see more details here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=90556

With the serial number. It is possible to know if this device was repaired? and what was the problem? Because if this phone only has two spots on the screen. I can live with that without problems ...

Can You stop opening new threads, all about Your ''chinese new'' device. You can ask questions in already existing threads. Every thread is packed with the same words ''new'' / ''refurbished'' / ''white spots''.

Come on, relax.

edit: I fotgot about ''MADE IN FINLAND''

WTF? Stop pasting links to that kind of sites, only the name of it says it all - please do not even think that's geniuine offer. And if You can delete it from this thread, NegriElectronics ... Christ, Lord save us.

This is a quote from a review of them on ResellerRatings:

"Shipping, oddly enough, was lightning fast for the first device, which came from Hong Kong,"

Just like all those "BRAND NEW" N900s on eBay!

Well I took a chance on this one. Will post results. FWIW, it shipped from Nevada.

Well I just received the n900 I ordered a week ago. It is definitely a genuine device. (it's my 4th ) Some pics attached for the non-believers.

Shipping was great, got tracking number within a few hours, and as a bonus to us Canadians, absolutely no tax or duty on delivery

Great price and my only dilemma is whether to order another...

I would suggest that you stop spreading FUD and bad mouthing legitimate sellers that you know nothing about. Negri (BTW that is the owner's name) has pretty solid reviews on resellerratings (I wouldn't have ordered otherwise), and I found a few posts here from members that purchased N9s from them and I didn't see any complaints. You need a nice kick in the *** for your post.

Zed, a million thanks for that link!

Yeah, I can vouch for the legitimacy of Negri Electronics--I've bought two N9s from them.

For Americans, they are a good choice for devices that don't have official distribution in the US.
