Hi all.....just quicky about the new OS due out..i have some very useful software on my N800 which i love just wondered if i do install the new OS and my software doesnt work...is there then a way if i want to uninstall OS2008 and replace OS2007 on my N800..

Yes, you can always flash to older firmware versions.

I just did that today - I tried 2008 for a couple days and got fed up with the browser crashing the whole system. The I.T. Talk site won't come up at all - crashes the browser immediately. Other sites hang the whole tablet. 2008 looks promising, but sure seems like some big bugs have to get cleaned up if they're still going to release this month. Maybe it's just me, seems like others here have had better luck . . .

Flashing back to 2007 and restoring old settings works fine, you will have to re-install any additional apps.

been using the OS2008 beta since it was available and had no crashes and this site opens fine.

I did NOT restore any of my OS2007 settings from a backup though as I wanted a clean system.
