I looked at Beta10 and it does seem to be much improved.

Awesome news about the plugin. Any idea on a potential release date? I love listening to audiobooks on the way to classes, so it is much appreciated.

The students started the project couple of weeks ago, the design is ready and they are developing it I will not try to guess a date, but I hope they managed to release a preview in a couple of weeks let's see how they perform

Another small bug (OS2006 on Nokia 770): the clock on Canola is three hours late.

I suppose that clock on Canola shows the GMT (winter time) because I live on time zone that is two hours ahead of GMT and we apply the daylight saving time at the moment.

EDIT: And now when we are back at winter time the clock is just two hours late. What am I doing wrong?

I finally got Canola 2 beta 9 - maemo1 to install and run on my 770 os2006.
Basic features seem to be working well. (Playing music and videos)

I am having problems with C2-tube tho.

I can search for videos fine, but when I select one, I get the error:
Unable to resolve video url.

I have C2-tube 0.1.3-maemo1 installed.

I searched for that error phrase on this forum and didn't find it.

I just updated my N810 and reinstalled Canola but the YouTube plugin doesn't work anymore. I can see the thumbnails and title under Most Viewed, but doesn't play when I click on it. It said "Unable to resolve video url. Check your connection and try again." And my connection is good. Please help.

I found this thread in the apps forum, so it looks like maybe google changed something. uktube is working for me, as a backup.

I searched the thread a bit, but found nothing concerning the fact that the tuning plugin no longer interfaces with the browser to make adding podcasts easier. This is documented here:

Hello guys,

We received the bug report couple of days ago, and it seems that the api to get the videos have changed so we need to launch again a new version of the plugin.

We are testing a release for next week and it will solve this issue.

I just upgraded to the new version of Canola Beta 9 that just came out, and the contents of my playlists vanished. The playlists still show up, but there's nothing in any of them. Is there some way to solve this & is this going to happen with all upgrades of Canola?

Also, my album art still doesn't show up (it didn't show up before this upgrade either), but it sounds like this is a common problem with Diablo (which I'm using). Should this revision of Beta 9 have solved the album art problem, or should I just wait for Beta 10?

Other than those two issues, Canola is a gem.
