This is the ad of N900 in China. (Not in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is using traditional Chinese, and this ad is shown in simplified Chinese)

Below is the translation(emphasis mine):

Title: King of Nokia N900 officially launched bring you the new 3G experience
Description: Expand your horizon, journey to the boundariless
- New generation of Nokia Internet Mobile Phone, equip with powerful and comprehensive functionalities, with GPRS connectivity and dual-band support
- Modern sliding cover design with the most popular full QWERTY keyboard gives the input experience like no other
- 3.5" display with 800x480 resolution screen, with Carl Zeiss lens plus dual LED flash
- trading stocks in Java, TV, FM, Maps, QQ, stereoscopic bluetooth...everything we needs

P.S. so far as I've been reading nobody gets QQ (most popular IM in China) works under N900...yet.

I understand Java but what exactly is QQ?
Java support could be really BIG news for the N900.

Anyways looks like Nokia has not completely forgotten the N900.
Btw, it is also expected to launch in India SOON...

For your information, QQ is the most popular IM in China (initially called QICQ). It has more than 100 millions simultaneous online users (http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...ient=firefox-a) i.e. the number of online users almost exceed the US population.

Stock trading and QQ support is the two key selling points for high-end mobile users' market. I'm not be able to get in touch with a user with official launched N900 in China, so I'm not sure if the Java and QQ comes pre-installed with it.

Give me a day. I'm friends with some manufacturers of 3rd party accessories and they've been watching the N900 release in mainland China.

1) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tencent_QQ
2) Java would be never official supported on N900, there are a lot of stuff we expect and we want, a lot of them a logical but still we have no info if it would be supported, but this for sure wouldn't be. I think it's or some local phone store ad, or even ad of clone(fake one) phone

Hello,
I'm living at china and have a N900...
I've installed "Pidgin Protocols plugins for Conversation and Contacts".
This plugin enables QQ to N900.

I think the point of OP was that ad fake anyway and if he was wrong about QQ, but still JAVA? TV?

I think the N900 in that ad is the Chinese SYMBIAN version that does not have the linux platform and (dare i say it lol) probably works better in many ways than the version we have lol.
Would love to find out if this is the symbian version though.

ooops wrong word lol trust me looking at google synopsis.
