From the python 2.5 release page at Python for maemo:

Converting existing Maemo applications to PyMaemo 2.5
In general, the Python for Maemo applications will demand some maintenance to work on 2.5 version, but the changes are easy to pinpoint and implement
There's a couple of neat apps (maemochron, maemostars, ...) that require 2.4 and that don't work under 2.5. I have no programmng experience. How "easy" is it to do this work. How does one start? Would be a pity to let such good work become obsolete.

Got any advice?

I'd also like to see maemochron revived/working on n800. Any update on status?

any news on getting gnumeric to work?

it's asking for python 2.4... i have 2.5...

need this app to use an excel file on my n800...

please, someone, help...
