This whole F(x)tec thingamajig is being one of the most frustrating events in my geeky life. It doesn't matter how hard I focus to contract time, or how often I refresh this TMO thread to help time fly, it seems time gets more and more dilated everyday. The closer we are from shipments, the longer the wait feels.
So if You feel little frustrating about waiting... Do like me... - Don't brake Your keyboard "F5", hitting that on every minute...
Go out, meet some friends, tell them about Your becoming phone, play some pool, one beer...
And if You like, watch some movie... Go to gym... Harvest trees. Help Your parents with their Win-10 -problems and Android (<- Yes, they might use those)...
Live a life and check this only few times a day
It will take only about month...

Oh I know. Unfortunately I am afraid I am older than you might have assumed.
I was merely trying to distract shaihkritzer from the price tag controversy — in vain. Though it is true that the wait feels endless.

Any published number will generate more critical comments:
- Oh, so few! Is this project really feasible, then?
- Oh, so many. But why am I not among the first batch, then!
And while the first batch comprises a specific number of assembled devices, things can go wrong as it is the first mass production run, so F(x)tec may receive far less working devices.
Hence even they do not know how many "first batch" devices will be available.
Why does this number appear to be relevant for you?
