i'm using a webos phone at the moment (pre 2) so this has me interested, but i'm holding off until we hear more about plans for the 4g touchpad. I'd gladly pay 2-300 for one of those and eke some more time out of my pre 2.

what saddens me about this is like tabco, the appeal in webos was the deep integration between devices. It'll be interesting to see what ice cream sandwich brings to the table.

From the cursory web research, it looks like whatever is not sold out of the brick & mortar stores is being recalled to HP. Wonder if they will still be selling their inventory once the price drop knee-jerk reaction has blown over (and the ebay/craigslist profiteers are done).

If this does get Android ported over, it would be worth the $100+/- investment.

In Australia, excess HP stock usually gets sold through online auction sites like graysonline. Is it the same for the USA?

Just checked back on the fleebay, it looks like we may be able to get a touchpad for around £150 after all. There are loads of auctions springing up from Canada at the moment

This did come out in the UK at Tescos

Anyone know which US retailer still has these in stock?

Updated: and bestbuy UK. Price? £349

Updated 2: The price cut hasnt happened in europe yet - i say wait till monday and we might see this roll out here. No way will the price stay at current price given that HP only sold 100 tablets in the UK (700 across europe) apparently.
