Hi, I found a N950 prototype in good condition from my archives. I plugged in the USB charger and it started charging, showed Nokia logo and after a minute or so the screen goes black. Has anyone been able to get any of these operational? It's a B2 prototype with HWID:0724

And I found an original spare battery for her if/when the original battery runs out of juice.

I realized that this is THE LEGENDARY aluminium -covered N9-00 prototype, where the first versions of Maemo were developed. This one is in perfect condition - no scratches, no display problems - even the original prototype stickers are in place. I find this the nicest device of all time, but I don't have such deep ties to it, what some of you developers/collectors might have, so I'm thinking of selling her even though She is saying that She doesn't want to be sold ;-) I will place a new thread to buy/sell area soon, so follow that area if you are seriously interested of her.

I have zero experience with the N950 but the N9 works that way. If the battery is completely empty, it fails to boot the kernel and does not even charge. The flasher can override that behaviour, as can repeatedly plugging and unplugging the charging cable until the battery level increases enough to keep the kernel up.
