Don't think the patch would work for Maemo, it seems to be GNOME specific and removes some lines pertaining to Maemo...

ok thanks sorry about the double post--just that this whole music thing with the n810 gets me going -would be good if it did work on the n810 -the unit is becoming more and more addictive as the software improves
anybody know how to get the save song patch to work on vagalume on a n810
