Not to many entries this time. Unfortunately this doesn't makes it easier to vote. Very good and interesting entries this month:
Nunsuch's pic is really impressive with all this details.
I have never seen a flower like the one which kinggo shows us. And on top there is this camouflage fly on it.
Then pichlo's entry. Even so it is no beer I really find it cool to produce it's own alcohol.
@ catbus is this really a spider in a bulb? - wow!
eson's strawberry is not only yummie but also a pic with nice colours and contrast.
Maemish's pic isn't the nicest one and I'm also not sure, If I really like the look of his car. But spending such an incredible enthusiasm and these skills to a project devours my deepest respect.
And last but not least robthebold's macro with a good portion of depth of field on a Smartphone photo...

So what photo should I vote for. I have no clue. Anyway I have to decide and so I'm quoting Maemish:

3. Pichlo. He has an image which makes me envy. He is doing something I would like to try but never have.

#1. nonsuch, Sony Xperia XA2, Sailfish OS camera. Cropped to 1:1
Excellent focus and good background blurring. The detail on the seed fluffs is good altouh I would have liked so see individual "parachutes" better.

#2. kinggo, XZ2 stock camera, resized and curve adjusted in gimp
Beautiful and evocative image of a flower, nice background of the green plant bits. good composition but the colour range is a bit limited.

#3. pichlo, Xperia X, cropped and resized in Paint
Technically not as good as it could be but "tastefully" very good idea and conveys well the theme do -your-thing!

#4. catbus, N9
Good idea but problems with getting the subject in focus.

#5. eson, Xperia X, Sailfish stock photo app, some cropping by Pix
quite tasty capture showing the contrast between the ripe and raw strawberries. Too bad the focus plane is not in the red berry!

#6. Fellfrosh, Pro1 Stock camera, cropped with darktable
Very rangy and pleasant capture, however missing an interesting foreground detail.

#7. Maemish, N900
Again something that nails the topic spot on, clearly an adorated hobby object hidden in a shed somewere!

#8. robthebold, Sailfish X on Xperia X, stock photo app
Good color splash macro again; but the problem is that DOF is not centered in the main theme.

Tis time it is real chestnut on whether to select something tat is technically perfect (#2 Kinggo) or sometthing that is not so but rather fits the topic like #3 Pichlo or #7 Maemish...

I'll go for #3 Pichlo this time, for taste reasons

My vote goes to 6. Fellfrosh. This old Midwestern boy loves a nice field of grain.

#3 pichlo,
even it is not really a perfect photo (is the water hose a security measure? ) it just matches perfectly the topic.

I guess funeral method is easy to decide?
Just switch on the bulb and have a cremation
