If you are referring to Blazer 4.0, that was released in December 2004 (http://www.access-sys-eu.com/817.html) which is after the 7700 (October 2004).

Well, Blazer has been based on NetFront since version 3, but I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. I don't know who implemented the idea of small screen optimization in a mobile web browser first. It could have been Access, Opera or some other company. I'm not sure why it would matter, really.

Yes, small screen optimization has been around for awhile. My interest is in the platform having a button for switching between different views.
