Everything gets very cheap if you wait over a year to buy it.

Early adopters always get screwed. That's a rule of every business. It's the early adopters that pay for the marketing and research, and the late adopters get all the toys.

lol. I had three of the n810's at one point, but ended up selling one to a friend. I'm a little too addicted to the darned things, so I had to get it out of here. Now the bad part is, I'm tempted to by YET ANOTHER one of the darned things...

lol. Man, I'm hopeless. ^_^;;

I have two N800's. I have to contain myself to not buy another for around $100, just in case one of mine dies. I bought the second as a MP3 player for my wife and a MP4 player for my daugher. It serves those purposes about once every few weeks. Usually I just swap them on the charger.

I'm not sure how usefull the keyboard and GPS on the N810 would be since I know I won't subscribe to wayfinder.

Well, I didn't use maemo mapper or the GPS very often, but I find I use it a lot more now. Especially since putting my car mount in my car.

As for the keyboard, if I have any serious typing to do, I use my bluetooth keyboard. But if it's something quick, the onboard keyboard works just fine.
