I overclocked my N900 a long time ago. Currently I use 600MHz to 850MHz because of crashing, but I run fine at 1150. Second question: can anyone help me configure kernel-power to skip over 900-1100 so it would be 600-850+1150? The guys here at Nokia parts http://www.thenokiaparts.com/eng/tuo...00-spare-parts sell all kinds of parts. Does any of these parts have the prosessor in it? If it were to fry, how can you replace it? You can replace all the other parts, but is that possible?

Thank you!!

I don't think it is possible to replace the processor of a smartphone. Thu guts of the phone are so integrated that you would be better off getting a new one. Otherwise I would upgrade my RAM!

I don't think it's possible.

However I would donate my own heart to save a N900.

So the circuitboard doesn't come with the spareparts?

You can always replace the whole motherboard if you find a spare one, or rip one from another broken n900, and it should be fairly easy. But there is no such thing in the link you provided.

What we need is an upgraded board, only problem if one where made would be that we have to modify the cover to accommodate for a HDMI port, else a board that have the same size and connections (ports AUDIO/TV OUT etc.) a dual core CPU and upgrades like this

Then all that's needed is a Maemo rewrite with other drivers......

not impossible but quite a task....
