@nicolai

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't help. 2 of 3 wallpapers are still show in settings/wallpapers after they was deleted with filebox from the directory and no more listed there. And yes, I've rebooted a few times.

You are right.
in xterm:
gconftool -u /desktop/meego/background/portrait/history
gconftool -u /desktop/meego/background/portrait/original_filename

removes the imagehistory in your wallpaper selection dialog

gconftool -u /desktop/meego/background/portrait/picture_filename
removes the current wallpaper

[QUOTE=nicolai;1245815]You are right.
in xterm:
[B]gconftool -u /desktop/meego/background/portrait/history

Thank you so much!

I had to run only the above command to remove the two incriminated wallpapers from the imagehistory in my wallpaper selection dialog. I mean

gconftool -u /desktop/meego/background/portrait/original_filename

was not necessary.

This maybe because, how I said before, I removed the wallpapers before with filebox from <home/user/wallpapers> and <home/user/MyDocs/wallpapers>.

Could you please write the exact steps you did?

I tried deleting mine in the FileBox .walpapers folder, but folder is empty, so I ran the xterm command and reboot, but no results. My custom added wallpapers are still in the settings.

I removed the 3 wallpapers from home/user/wallpapers and maybe also from home/user/MyDocs/wallpapers. After that they was no more listed in this directorys, but two of them remained in the wallpaper gallery. So I run the first command in xterm given by nicolai. If I'm not wrong I run only

gconftool -u /desktop/meego/background/portrait/history

[QUOTE=delmar;1245367]@ZogG
...

This topic is half year old but anyway, your problem is that you created a cropped preview from ur photos which are not stored anywhere. All u have to do is to rename the photo ur wallpaper image consists of =)
Then it simply disappears from the Wallpapers
