I think the uninstallation method in http://wiki.maemo.org/Nitdroid_easy_...lling_Nitdroid

..needs to be updated, it doesn't work for me,
first some folders cannot be deleted using filebox as described there so i had use rm -rf,

And then i tried this N12, following the installation method and the kernel i used to successfully install N11.

But i get sh : /dev/mmcblk0p2 unknown operand

and after checking the /etc/multiboot.d i can't find the item for nitdroid..

So i install multiboot apt-get install multiboot..
And now guess what?

the Maemo option doesn't appear on multiboot, only android
I guess i have to reflash now

The installation method only works if i do a clean reflash on Maemo first...
So there must be something missing on the uninstallation procedure..
There's something else that has to be removed before installing nitdroid again

Can anyone help me with this?
Anyone managed to install N12 after N11?

I just wonder... Is it more efficient with the battery than in 0.0.8? It drains the battery so fast that it's almost impossible to use it without charging at the same time. It also gets really hot...
Or will we have to live with it?

reflash the kernel only and then press B or E and you should boot into Maemo

this command for linux

sudo flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R

this for windows

flasher-3.5 -F <firmware-image> --flash-only=kernel -f -R
