just saw this very interesting haven't tried meego since very first build released early last year. Do we still need to use u-boot and flash kernel each and every time, or can we now use multiboot and seamlessly swith maemo/meego/nitdroid either way looks promising.

according to amanda's blog, Uboot is needed.

Below is her text according to google translation:
"Earlier I also share with you here the Intel MeeGo 1.2 Tablet UX Pre-Alpha Release of the trial situation. Intel recently to the design for the Tablet PC version of the source MeeGo open, then put the source an expert Sage won, and then compiled into the Nokia N900 can use the ARM architecture version, and made into image files put online.

What in the 3.5 "touch screen tablet PC to use the system look like? Actually nothing special - Do not you see the iPhone and iPad iOS have looked like you? Emotion MeeGo situation is very similar. In order to more deeply understanding of this cross-species experiment will be to little effect, I first downloaded the image file compressed files Sage, habitual use of Win32 Disk Imager to extract the image file written to microSD memory card, then put one by the Hong Kong Nokia out, has been equipped with multi-system U-Boot boot boot the N900 ... Needless to two minutes, I saw the success of MeeGo 1.2 Tablet UX operating on the N900! emotion is good, take a look at my own taken some of the N900 experimental picture tomorrow ... "

cheers,
