Yo wot?
I hear people whining about copy&paste support in SFOS and now I hear that you need an extra application for it in Android? wtf?

Read for comprehension, plesae

If I copy an address it should open Google Maps. If I copy a URL, I should be able to open in Chrome or my browser of choice.
Nope. Just nope. The last thing I want from my tech is to decide for me what to do with the copied content.

Gee... I thought it was a cute app that lets you copy and paste more efficiently. Unless I'm mistaken, the tech doesn't necessarily decide for you. Although there are some default choices, you can program what options you want and select them as needed. Saves a step.

But here is something more worrisome...

Nah, just another Android vulnerability, there already are so many there this hardly makes a dent

How many such things are lurking in Maemo or Sailfish? Let's not sleep on our laurels, obscure platforms are only relatively secure. Until they become a target too. It's just that no one is bothered because, admit it, what's the point?

It could be a decent target, with all these members trying to hide their porn.

Seems they are not interested.

Linuxfoundation ~ UserDisrespect/DoNotCareAboutTrademarks/...
I just noticed that the Linux Foundation let their MeeGo US trademark expire back in April 2012. They still list MeeGo as one of their trademarks on their website, which it is, albeit not registered.

Meanwhile, Shenzhen have recently registered a trademark in the US for their MeeGo Pad.

EDIT: Speaking of expirations, it looks like I've let my search session expire! If you want to see the trademark info, just go here and search for "meego" under Basic Word Mark Search.

Now that you remind me:
my latest mail to info@linuxfoundation.org was about how to support and/or donate. And guess what: right, NO answer (again).
