I hesitated for so long with getting an N9, because of the missing keyboard. After using the N900 I didnt wanted to go back to vkb... but whatever, swipe UI seriously is the most beautiful thing around in mobile world... cant even be compared to android... sticking with Meego could have made nokia a big player in the Smartphone world. Seriously, whenever a friend of mine with android plays around with the N9, they would all keep it, if they could use all their useless apps.

I bought one of the Danish ones, right at the beginning. Black, 64GB. I still use it today as my main phone.

For a while my 808 was my main phone. The camera, you know? For a while a Lumia 820 was - because I don't take the opinion of others on faith. LTE, so some of the things it did, it did fast. I sold it.

I have a BB Q10 as a secondary phone - the keyboard. 'nuff said.

But my N9 lives on. It was like coming home when I dropped the sim back into it. There is nothing like it.

This thread has established the answer to a question many have asked.
Lumiaman is an alias of stephen elop.

On a happy note.. I have no idea of anything that could be considered an 'upgrade' from the N9.. So im just waiting for Jolla like everyone else.

I still remember my excitement when I was watching the N9 presentation in Singapore on June 2011.

It was 5:00 am in Greece but I didn't care.

Sorry to bust your bubble man but it ain't gonna happen.

I wish it would but it will not.

I have my hopes on other similar efforts.

1, The Jolla Sailfish

2, Nemo mobile (It's starting to look and feel like harmattan! It might even surpass it!)

3, BB10 (although things are looking bad for BB. But it is a great OS)

4, Remember Open WebOS? I hope LG still remembers it.

5, Tizen OS. Same goes for Samsung. I hope they have plans for it. Bada was pretty damn good by the way.

6, Ubuntu for phones.

Let us wait and see what happens
