I have to disagree there, the camera issues in Jolla have nothing to do with SW, the problem is the camera module which is what you'd expect in a non-brand generic android device.
It is really the achilles-heel of the device, the only thing that is not really good quality IMHO.

Yes it does and yes I saw videos at MWC in portrait mode. Most apps are btw still optimized for portrait.
