thanks, but i dont want it through OVI suite, cos i want then to send the contacts from N900 to another devise by bluetooth.

does N900 has a contact file in the phone directory like other Nokia devices?

You can use Transfer and Sync from N900 control panel to sync Contacts and SMS with other phone

There is an event DB file available in N900 that stores Conversations but that won't be useful if the target phone is not N900.

In N900 Settings, check for 'Transfer & sync' under Connectivity. It opens a wizard which is self-explanatory.

I have used it couple of times with other Nokia phones but I am not sure if it will work for non-Nokia devices.

May be below threads can be of some help:

well, i think the easiest way is to send contacts to my laptop by bluetooth then from laptop to another phone by bluetooth again.

even it is a long way, but will not get confused with X-terminal cos i never dealt with it.

thnx

Yep that would suffice.

If you are more interested in contacts, then another approach will be to just do a sync between Google contacts and N900 and then do a sync between Google Contacts and other phone (if it has option to sync with Google Contacts).

Whichever option you are comfortable with
