For those still suffering from advanced power not working - I just got it after a reflash.

It's now fixed. The problem was that it was missing some important files, but reports no errors.

First up, purge the package "advanced-power-common". this will also get rid of the monitor and the status plugin.

Then, "rm -rf /opt/maemo/usr/lib/hildon-desktop/advpowlib".

Then, reinstall advanced-power. Works now, as I suspect there's a bug in the package's dpkg scripts.

Where to use "rm -rf /opt/maemo/usr/lib/hildon-desktop/advpowlib" this command.
