Since PR1.3 has extended the life of my N900 I can look a little farther into the future. Should I get an E7 when it is released or wait a few more months for the N9? I expected to get the N9 at the end of this year, however things have changed. Will Intel release any MeeGo handsets with a slideout QWERTY keyboard before Nokia releases the N9? I wanna hear other people's plans for their next smartphone.

I think my next handset will be an Android device, probably HTC (desire HD) but i'm still very happy with my N900 so let's wait and see what the N9 will look like and how the last version of Meego will look like. Plenty of time before I have to make my decision

The N900 for now. I want to see real specs for the N9 before I get a new phone, and when it is supposed to come. The E7 looks nice, but the C6-01 also looks like a nice phone to get before the N9 is here.

None really. I'll keep with the N900 for as long as possible since I like it so much.

could only be son of N900....
symbian is too phone centric for me
iphone can only transfer via itunes
android is getting very common, fragmented, and generally the hardware isn't there for me.
do like the look of the E7, but it runs symbian.

already bought it a while back. An x10 mini, excellent for training where n900 is almost useless. Now I'm waiting for a windows 7 mobile or meego device. will wait and see what is release early 2011.

I'll get one of those big 4.3 inch screened WP7 devices (I think it's called the HD7). Or maybe I'll just go with Android since i'm gonna get an Archos 70 internet tablet. Might as well keep it all in the family.
