Thin tires are not for me. I want to be like an agile tank when biking. I want a Full Suspension with lock. The only bad thing is...more maintenance needed. And OFC all the ****ing theifs steeling bikes. U can't leave it on the street.

I agree proper suspension...proper shocks are a must when off-road...
The handle bars suck on mountain bikes...I always stick my fave racing bars on...easier on the body.
I have no need for 500 gears either...anything under 10 gears isn't enough and anything over 18 is stupid.
I tend to strip down my bikes to something easy and quick to fix and maintain...
I find the standard 4-wheel drive monster tires are terrible on pavement ...and the standard racing tires are terrible off-road...hence I like the hybrid off/on road racing mountain bike tires...best of both worlds....little narrower than standard mountain bike tires...but with all the lugs.

@Dave....Freind of mine who lives in Vancouver just called me last night...his Brand new ....1st time ridden...most expensive-high-end BionX electric mountain bike just got stolen in less than 15 minutes outside of a public library while chained up ....the crooks took everything including the chain and lock.
The worst part of it is the battery needs a specific lock to remove it..and a very specific charger interface.....the parts need specific tools to remove them too.
None of that matters anyway....the thieves most likely were from Surrey...(nearby) where a couple of the parks are spread with the guts of many ripped apart bikes...the thieves there are beyond post-apoc. or regressed before the stone age....When over in Van 1/2 a yr...maybe a year ago...watched a bike thief bashing a mountain bike against concrete ...ruining it ...trying to get parts off...with no tools or shop....course Surrey is the roughest area of Van. same day early ...watched a morning jogger in all jogging gear and clothes jog past with a baseball bat.....pretty freakin .Bar-bar ...Love cities...but I also sure love stayin faaaarrr away from them too.

@mscion...10 days to go for?
could be a lot of things ...
point of reference please...

I agree. It is unlikely. I also wish it had 64GB internal memory although
will probably be able to expandable to 128GB. At some point should be
able to upgrade to Android L (Lemon Meringue?) which will be nice.

Thats really sad. Hope atleast he gets some money from that so he can buy another one.

I have never seen an electric MTB. Presonally, I would never buy one. That is like cheating

also doubt we will see 64 GB as default. But you can lways use the external card.

Canadian made...check em out...
I've used them ...seriously fab for going up the mountains you don't/ can't pedal up and have to walk up instead.
Freakin best ...longest distance...regenerative braking...they are fab.
For doin serious road-trippin it is perfect for the distances......especially between towns out here.

I have tried regular E-bikes, but never seen a MTB with it before.
Very cool!! Thx for sharing.

Not for me. I guess they gets destroyed pretty fast if using them like like a real MTB. Plus I like to use my body during the rides.
