what's make the partnership so special ? as lg, samsung, htc ....bla bla bla also have their strategy for wp7 phone.

all wp7 phone are no different.

is just a zombie phone.

I fully concur with the sentiments expressed that this is, in effect, a Nokia/Microsoft suicide pact! My next phone will now, beyond doubt, be a Nexus S or similar.

i found a page that mentions the new operational structure of Nokia:

It seems like meego will continue in a "Smart Devices" division, however this same division will have to create the "winning Windows Phone"... :-s where is the winning Meego Phone?...
they mention Alberto Torres will step down... who was executive vice president, "responsible for developing solutions and devices based on the MeeGo platform"

Oh, when do we get to start making fun of that analyst guy who was convinced the memo was fake merely because the CEO had different opinions than he did? As for those who disbelieved the combined confirmatory might of the BBC, CNN, and Wall Street Journal among others...

Stock price continues to dive.

Long term investors realising that Nokia will never get back to it's traditional profit margins. Making boxes is not a goldmine.

Elop was reported in the press as saying iPhone and Android phones were coming out and Nokia didn't have anything to match them. Big mistake - they had the hardware, they had the software / OS, what they didn't have was the infrastructure behind it. I've had my N900 for over a year and the damn OVI store is still a BETA.

WTF Nokia? There's your problem, right there.
