I just got to know I will do some programming on the n810 as a project in school, awesome I know

I have been a bit on the N900 and qt. As the course have not started I do not know if I am allowed to use qt or if it have to be gtk+. Does the n810 have qt? If so is there any difference between the n810 and the n900 while using qt?

Hi,

the N810 is part of the supported devices. Basic difference is the version. Fremantle comes with 4.6.2 and on Diablo you can install 4.5.3. I don't know about the performance on the tablets though.

Performance-wise, N900 is at least twice as faster than N810. N900 runs stock at 600Mhz, N810 runs 400Mhz; however, N900 can be overclocked to 1150Mhz. The ARM cpu in N900 is much more efficient than the N810, thus at least twice as fast. N900 has more RAM, too.
