If i was sending pictures to UStream of something I was looking at, I would need the outward camera.

There is normally a "camera settings dialog" which might take some effort to get to, but should list the compatible video sources letting you select. Alternately there might be some bitflip switch buried in the API. Skype and the movie recorder have to find the right camera.

As I said, the Flash settings page had only the back camera as a choice.

Just a note, all the demo units of the N900 are running beta-level software. The inability to use the front-facing cam might change in the final release. I couldn't find any other Nokia apps using the front cam, either...

Also, as I mentioned in my article, Qik is in the repositories for streaming video...

The ability to use it for flash based video chat would be a great feature.

Given that there are more demo units out there, has anyone successfully used the front facing camera for anything?
